Today at Vinland National Center we celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday by helping bring awareness to his legacy.
The clients were able to watch the movie “Selma” in two shifts, while the other half went snowshoeing (!) until it was their turn to watch the film.
In addition, we handed out some of the attached posters and clients helped post them all over the building.
Some great learning, conversation, and respect were held by all. you can catch some of the pictures on our FaceBook page. :^)
We all owe Dr. King a debt of gratitude for teaching us, among other things, that love always conquers hate.
