Vinland Center staff volunteered at Second Harvest in Golden Valley on Friday, July 18 in conjunction with a food drive held earlier in the week for Maple Plain Area Food Shelf. Vinland employees donated non-perishable items including baking mixes, baby food, boxed meals, & toiletries.
Maple Plain Area Food Shelf is a recipient of donations from Second Harvest and donates food for Vinland’s Clients. They serve residents of Independence, Loretto, and Maple Plain.
Second Harvest distributes over 83 million pounds of food every year.
