Mick McClellan is an intern for Vinland’s residential chemical health program. He is currently earning a degree in addiction counseling from Minneapolis Community & Technical College. Mick’s expected graduation date is fall of 2015.
Why are you interested in your field of study?
I believe I have the ability to make a difference in people’s lives, specifically in the lives of people in recovery.
Why were you interested in an internship at Vinland?
I wanted the unique opportunity to help people with traumatic brain injuries.
What are your goals after graduation?
I’d like to work at a great place like Vinland Center.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like snow skiing, playing guitar, and just being outside. I enjoy rock climbing and hiking.
