Megan Boster is an intern in Vinland’s residential chemical health program. She is currently earning a bachelor’s degree in alcohol and drug counseling from Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) with an expected graduation date of December 2014.
How did you become interested in substance abuse counseling?
I just wanted to help people with addiction.
Why were you interested in an internship at Vinland?
I heard what a great place it was to intern, and working with the traumatic brain injury/specialty population would be great. Once I interviewed and toured, I knew it was the right place
What are your goals after graduation?
I would like to continue my career in probation and work with my new degree.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I pretty much spend time at home with my American Pit Bull Terrier, Lila.
Where do you most want to travel, but have never been?
Greece

Movie: Bridesmaids

If you were immortal for a day, what would you do?
A lot of jumping off stuff.
If you could witness any even past, present, or future, what would it be?
The signing of the Declaration of Independence.
