Angie Haag is an intern in Vinland’s outpatient chemical health program. She is currently earning a degree in Addiction Studies from Hazelden Graduate School with an expected graduation date of December 2014.
What interests you about addiction studies?
I like the helping profession and I think that when it comes to addiction, there is a lot of hope.
Why were you interested in an internship at Vinland?
Because of my family, I have a strong connection with traumatic brain injury and addiction.
What has been your most rewarding experience so far at Vinland?
Last week, I got to help a woman celebrate her sober birthday. It was really cool!
What are your goals after graduation?
To get a job.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like to hang out with my cat and go camping.
Where do you most want to travel, but have never been?
Italy

The DSM 😉
If you were immortal for a day, what would you do?
Do a lot of cliff jumping in the Grand Canyon.
