Marketing Intern

We are offering a paid fall/spring internship for the right marketing student. The intern will focus on one primary project, assisting with other projects as needed.

Primary Project

Assist with the planning and promotion of Vinland’s annual 3k snowshoe fundraising event, the Winter Walkabout (http://winterwalkabout.org/). The project may include, but is not limited to, direct mail, email marketing, social media, list development, cold calls, donation solicitation, writing, and graphic design. The goal is to increase sponsorship support and event attendance.

Additional Projects

As needed, the intern will assist with content development for online platforms, direct mail, database management, and writing.

Experience

Intern must currently be enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.

Must be familiar with PC, Word, and Excel.

Must be willing to learn new software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and database management.

Salary and Hours

This a part-time (20-30 hours per week) internship paying $12 per hour. The work hours are flexible business hours.
