Vinland Welcomes Psychiatrist
February 3, 2010 - Vinland is pleased to welcome John E. Simon as the new licensed psychiatrist. He will be working primarily with participants in Vinland’s residential chemical health program and vocational services program.
“Vinland serves a population that with my unique background I have the potential to work well with,” Dr. Simon said when asked about why he was interested in working at Vinland. “I have a great respect for Vinland Center and have known the reputation of the center for some time.”
Dr. Simon specializes in working with people with addictions and seniors. He has a degree from the University of Nebraska Medical School. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota. He has been serving clients in the Twin Cities area since 1980.
