New Location in Northeast Minneapolis for Chemical Health Outpatient Services
February 25, 2011- Vinland’s Chemical Health Outpatient Services Program has a new location in Northeast Minneapolis on the corner of Central and 20th Avenues.
“The space afforded by our new location will give us the room to grow and the opportunity to expand our outpatient chemical health programming,” said Outpatient Services Manager Annette Pearson.
Vinland will be sharing a building with Rise, Inc., an organization that provides services for adults with disabilities that focus on vocational achievement, community integration, and housing support. Pearson is excited about the benefits this proximity represents for Vinland’s clients.
“Rise’s mission and goals parallel Vinland’s. We both want to help people with disabilities overcome obstacles and breakdown common barriers to achieve independence,” Pearson said. “Being next door to one another will allow us to work together as a team for the participants that we serve.”
Vinland will continue to provide contracted chemical health services to clients in Courage Center Golden Valley’s Transitional Rehabilitation Program and Chronic Pain Program.
“The partnership shared between Vinland and Courage Center has benefited thousands of individuals over the years,” Pearson said. “In moving, one of our priorities was to make sure that this partnership remains intact.”
