Exploring the Connection Between Brain Injury and Substance Abuse
December 1, 2009 - One out of two people living with a brain injury suffers from some form of substance abuse issue, according to the Office on Disability. This is in striking contrast to the substance abuse rate among the general population, which is one out of 10.
LivingWorks Ventures Awarded Grant to Fund Recreation Activities at Lodges
November 2, 2009 - Vinland is pleased to announce that LivingWorks Ventures has been awarded a grant from The MENTOR Network Foundation to fund recreation activities for lodge residents.
New Executive Director for Vinland
October 26, 2009 - Vinland National Center has selected Mary Roehl as its new executive director. Roehl has worked at Vinland for more than 10 years as the director of operations. She has served as the interim executive director for the past year.
Vinland Awarded SAMHSA Grant to Address Needs of Families During Treatment and Recovery
September 16, 2009 - Vinland is pleased to announce that it has received a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to provide family-focused services to chemical health participants and their families.

September 10, 2009 - Twelve individuals with disabilities will soon have a new place to call home. LivingWorks Ventures and Vinland National Center broke ground on Thursday, September 10 on Crystal Lodge II.
